This holiday season Greenawalt Roofing Company has partnered with The ChadTough Foundation in honor of Benjamin Reinhold, an 8-year-old and a former second-grade student at Landisville Primary Center of Landisville, PA who passed away earlier this year from DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma), a rare and aggressive form of pediatric brain cancer. Even in his final days on earth, Benjamin never let his cancer redefine who he was. Our tree has been decorated with all of Benjamin's favorite things and highlights memories of him with photos and quotes from family and friends.
It’s $1 per vote and all the votes that our tree receives, will go directly to The ChadTough Foundation to support DIPG research. The top three trees will receive additional money from the Barnstormers to support the respective non-profits.
Only 4% of all federally funded cancer research dollars are allocated to ALL pediatric cancers combined of which DIPG receives zero. DIPG is an inoperable brain tumor located within the brain stem with a median survival rate of 9 months. Roughly 400 children are diagnosed annually in the United States and there are no known causes or cure. There are zero long-term survivors. Foundations like ChadTough are imperative to finding a cure by raising money to support game changing research. Their dollars go directly into DIPG research and have been responsible for providing researchers across the country the seed money to collect research data in order to even apply for research grants.

Greenawalt Roofing Company announces Moses Shirk as the company’s new production manager.
Shirk, who recently joined the Greenawalt team brings over 8 years of experience in the building and construction industry. Born and raised in Lancaster, PA, Shirk started working construction right out of high school for a small sub contractor and served as a foreman for the past 8 years.
As production manager for Greenawalt Roofing Company, Shirk will be responsible for overseeing production, building orders, project management, meeting customers and answering any questions our sales team and customers have.

Friday, March 1, 2019 - (Lancaster, PA) Greenawalt Roofing Company has moved to its new corporate headquarters located at 3530 Marietta Avenue in Lancaster, less than 5 minutes from their previous office at 1200 Corporate Blvd. The new building has fully renovated and restored what previously was the Martin Salvage Yard.
The new showroom offers a space for customers to come in, speak with a representative on-site, choose color of their shingles, siding, and gutters. Samples of doors and windows will be on display for optimal visualization.
