Know the signs
Is your roof in need of repair or replacement, or are you installing a roof on a newly-constructed house for the first time? Our experienced, professional roofers are here to help! Even if your roof isn’t leaking, it can still exhibit problems that merit repair or replacement.
Common signs that you may need a professional roofer include:
Discolored, worn, missing or damaged shingles
Damaged flashing
Deteriorated plywood
Poor ventilation
Rusting, or damaged eaves or gutters
We offer a variety of roofing products, including CertainTeed and TAMKO shingles, and EPDM rubber roofing materials to ensure your roof is built to last.
STEP 1
The first step is selecting the roof system that you want to install on your home. We recommend CertainTeed and TAMKO® asphalt shingles in an architectural style that will provide protection and enhanced curb appeal for your home and also offers a 30- and 50-year warranty.
While we prefer CertainTeed for its performance and warranty protection, we are also knowledgeable and experienced in installing shingles from other manufacturers including TAMKO, GAF, Owens Corning, and Atlas.
Our experienced team will review your new roofing system with you, explaining the importance of each component including the underlayment, shingles, flashings and even how the type of roofing nails used contribute to the performance. Your replacement system will also include a continuous ridge vent for adequate attic ventilation. Proper ventilation is a critical component in every re-roofing project. It leads to cooler attics in the summer and drier attics in the winter, protecting against structural damage, reducing energy consumption and preventing ice dams.
STEP 2
Once the job is underway, we’ll start with the removal of your old shingles, taking care to protect your landscaping, yard and the rest of your home. All of our installers pay precise attention to detail during the installation and cleanup, and treat your property like it is their own.
Step 3
Most of our roof replacement jobs are completed in one day but that can vary depending on the size of your roof. Once the installation is complete our crews carefully clean up and remove debris, using a magnet to ensure any stray nails that may have fallen to the ground are located and removed.
EPDM (ethylene propylene dieneterpolymer)
EPDM is a single-ply rubber roofing membrane that has been an appealing choice for low-slope residential and commercial roofing for over 40 years. Great for homes and apartment buildings, shopping malls, and other buildings with flat roofing. Roofing systems installed with EPDM coatings in the 1970’s are still functioning well today. Unlike other products throughout the years, EPDM has remained relatively constant in terms of its production and application. A tried-and-true product, EPDM rubberized roofing systems may be an excellent choice for you.
Synthetic rubber offers big advantages in roofing installations including:
Superior fatigue resistence means durability and long-life
High ozone resistance
Great choice for harsh climates, especially cold temperatures due to low temperature flexibility and resistance to thermal shock.
Perfect for low-slope roofing
